THE TIGERACE
SHOW
ABOUT THE WORK
The TigerFace Show has been through many stages of development, and has now formalised its self as a performance that can happen in studio theatres.
In NOV 2020 the work will tour to 4 locations across Wales
(TBC because of Covid-19)
The TigerFace Show is a semi-autobiographical, partly improvised, comedy-performance piece about mental health and adulthood, that asks us to re-evaluate what it is we really want to be when we grow up.
Performed as a mad and frantic hour of physical comedy, the central character attempts to re-create the last ever episode of his old kid’s tv serial The TigerFace Show.
The performance quickly unfurls into an audience responsive, ragged-scream-party-piece, that’s one part misery, two parts joyful.
FREE Piña Colada!*
Having developed the work through The Bristol Old Vic’s Ferment scheme, with support from The Riverfront Theatre and funding from Arts Council Wales, the work premiered at The Other Room, Cardiff, in spring 2019 receiving critical acclaim.
